Backup and restore of custom sleeve systems

1.   Custom sleeve systems location

The location the custom sleeves are located in is as follows:

"C:\ProgramData\coDiagnostiX\CustomElementDB"

2.   Backup process

a)    Please open Windows Explorer and go to the aforementioned location "C:\ProgramData\coDiagnostiX\CustomElementDB". You can do so by copy-pasting the path into the address bar.

b)    You will then see the folder "CustomElementDBBackup".Please copy and paste this folder to a save location. We recommend using an external drive or a cloud backup solution for safekeeping.

3.   Restore process

a)    To restore the backup or add the custom sleeves on a new computer, please copy and paste the backed-up folder "CustomElementDBBackup" into the "C:\ProgramData\coDiagnostiX\CustomElementDB" location.

b)    If you get a file conflict during the process, please make sure it is safe to override already existing files.

c)    After the folder is in place, please start coDiagnostiX and find the menu item "Management..." on the main screen.

d)    Continue with opening "Maintain and repair" and select "Restore user-defined sleeves" The sleeves from the backup will now be restored.
