Custom Sleeve Systems
The custom sleeve system can be used to define and plan any sleeve system with coDiagnostiX. Even guided systems can be defined.
Custom sleeve systems are stored as presets containing one or more sleeves and sleeve positions. Custom sleeves are compatible with a digital surgical guide.
Custom sleeve presets can be:
- Defined from scratch
- Shared with other installations (import and export)
- Deleted
Custom sleeve presets cannot be:
- Edited: If you have to adjust details, create a new preset.

How-To add a custom sleeve (system):
Select Extras > Edit Custom Sleeve System from the menu bar in coDiagnostiX.
To import a preset, click the Import button and select the preset to be imported.
The preset will be a ".GSP" file.
- To export a preset, right-click on the preset in the list and select Export.
- To delete a preset, right-click on the preset in the list and select Delete.
Defining a new preset
Obtain all data required for the custom preset. Such data include (see example on the right):
- Technical data of the sleeve
- Position of the sleeve in relation to the implant (e.g. dedicated drills for a guided system)
Click New to start the design wizard for a new preset. Follow the instructions given.
The Design steps include:
- Sleeve geometry parameters
- Sleeve position
- Sleeve holes
- Summary
GSP file is a Custom Sleeve Definition and is imported via the Custom Sleeve System on the Extras menu.
