Working hand in hand: TRIOS and coDiagnostiX
Seamless integration of coDiagnostiX into TRIOS allows:
● dentist to easily use both TRIOS and coDiagnostiX in-house in his practice(Chairside)
● dentist to easily send a case from his TRIOS to a laboratory that uses coDiagnostiX
● laboratory to work in-house with both coDiagnostiX and 3Shape Dental Designer (temporary restorations and prosthetic design for optimal implant positioning)

How to send a scan directly from TRIOS to coDiagnostiX (Chairside)
1 On the settings page, select Software integration 🡪 Connection to set up a connection to coDiagnostiX.1
2 Create a new case in TRIOS. Before scanning, TRIOS asks you to select where to send the case.
Choose coDiagnostiX.
1 This step must be done only once. For all following cases, coDiagnostiX will automatically appear as an option in Sent to.
3 Scan patient with TRIOS. On the final screen of the scanning workflow, select Send to. The case is automatically sent to coDiagnostiX as selected in Step2.
4 Receive case in coDiagnostiX. Select Add model scan 🡪 Import from an order. Select order from list and click Use. You can now start implant planning with coDiagnostiX.
How to send a scan directly from TRIOS to a laboratory
1 On the settings page, select Connections 🡪 Labs to add a laboratory working with coDiagnostiX, either from a list or manually.2
2 Create a new case in TRIOS. Before scanning, TRIOS asks you to select where to send the case. Choose your collaborating laboratory (JA in this example).
2 Both dentist and laboratory must be registered with 3Shape Communicate through the 3Shape website. The step must be done only once. Lab will automatically appear in Sent To options for all following cases.
3 Scan patient with TRIOS. On the final screen of the scanning workflow, select Send to. The case is automatically sent to the laboratory as selected in Step2.
4 The Laboratory receives an email that a case has been sent via 3ShapeCommunicate.
5 To receive the case in coDiagnostiX, the lab selects Add model scan 🡪 Import from an order and logs in with 3ShapeCommunicate.
